Innovative technologies with high renewable content underscore PolyOne’s strong commitment to sustainability
CLEVELAND – PolyOne’s GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers, a business within PolyOne’s Specialty Engineered Materials group and a global leader in high-performance, custom-formulated thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), today announced that Dr. Krishna Venkataswamy will present a technical paper at the 12th Annual Thermoplastic Elastomers International Conference in Frankfurt, Germany.
Dr. Venkataswamy, senior director of global R&D, for GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers, and his colleagues Dr. Guoqiang Qian and Dr. Charles Page, will discuss two innovative, bio-renewable TPE technologies recently commercialized as OnFlex™ BIO and Versaflex™ BIO. These products offer designers sustainable alternatives to traditional materials. The paper, titled, “Innovative Bio-Renewable Thermoplastic Elastomers,” will be presented on Wednesday, November 11 at 2:15 pm in Session 2 of the conference.
