OnColor™ Holoflake™ Colorants 
Holographic Colorants  

 

OnColor™ Holoflake™ colorants are concentrates formulated with holographic glitter pigments to produce spectral colors that are crisp, sharp and reflective under all types of lighting sources. Clear plastics produce the best effects.

Key Characteristics

OnColor Holoflake colorants come in a range of background colors with pigments of different sizes, including 1/128", 1/64", 1/40" and 1/25". They are supplied as pelletized concentrates for injection molding and as dry blend for rotational molding.

OnColor Holoflake colorants use two carrier systems: One carrier system works well in clarified PP and other polyolefins; the other is designed for use in GPPS and K-resin. Cellulose propionate-based color concentrates may also be formulated. A typical letdown ratio for an OnColor Holoflake colorant is 25:1 (4%).

Additional Product Information

OnColor Holoflake colorants are formulated to be compatible with the letdown resin and will process well in thermoplastic applications processed at less than 400° F. Injection molding is the commonly used process. The product may also be used in rotational molding.
