Our Products
These semi-crystalline PBT compounds are used as an engineering plastic.
These POM compounds find extensive use in the transportation industry and in household appliance and electrical/electronic industries – all due to excellent overall thermal and mechanical properties with a high cost to performance ratio.
POM crystallinity provides high strength, stiffness and hardness, good chemical and environmental resistance, low friction and wear and low moisture absorption.
PolyOne’s Edgetek™ Copolyester Compounds are based on Eastman Tritan™ copolyester resin which is custom compounded to meet specific performance criteria.
Covers a broad range of standard and custom-formulated high performance materials, including high temperature materials and high modulus structural materials for load-bearing applications. Additives like carbon fiber, glass fiver and glass beads reinforce the compounds.
PC/PBT or PC/PET alloys that offer an excellent combination of strength, durability and chemical resistance. They provide outstanding low temperature impact resistance, weatherability, resistance to automotive fluids and other chemicals.
CPE Compounds with outstanding physical and electrical performance properties.
These polymer-metal composites use a variety of metallic fillers and offer design flexibility and processing ease of thermoplastics while offering alternatives to traditional metals while maintaining the original look and feel of the product.
Specially formulated to be self-lubricating materials, these compounds offer a low coefficient of friction and improved wear resistance properties, while combining a wide array of base engineering resins with the unique benefits of internal lubricants.
Provides antistatic, electrostatic discharge (ESD) and EMI/RFI shielding performance for critical electronic equipment applications. Additives such as carbon powder, carbon fiber, nickel-coating carbon fiver and stainless steel fiber are custom blended with select engineering resins.
Temperature, creep, stress crack and abrasion resistant, these compounds stand above regular polyethylene due to much improved heat and oil resistance. They are versatile enough to produce solid, co-extruded or foam profiles or films.
Engineered to combine the heat transfer and cooling capabilities of metals with the design freedom, weight reduction and cost advantages of thermoplastics, these materials the benefits of proprietary conductive additive technologies and the performance of select engineering thermoplastic resins.
PolyOne’s new Trilliant HC materials are well suited for an array of end-use products including structural, antimicrobial, surface engineering, conductive/antistatic, thermal management, pre-colored, and flame retardant applications.
